The Oath

I declare my name and stand behind it.
I hold my own keys, and I ask no one to hold them for me.
I will witness truly, vote freely, and trade honestly.
I will keep the record public and my word good.
I join CryptRepublic by my own consent,
and by my own consent I remain —
a citizen of the first network state,
one passport, one voice, one Republic.

Administration

The oath is affirmed by the applicant during the passport mint and recorded on-chain as part of the sealing transaction. It is sworn once; it binds for the duration of citizenship; and it is released without prejudice upon renunciation. Seven witnesses attest that the person swearing is real, singular, and uncoerced.
